Thomas and Sylvain are attending the Gordon Research Conference on Cellular & Molecular Fungal Biology in Holderness, near Boston, United States. Sylvain is giving a talk on the work by Remi, Malick and Adelin in the session “Biophysics and mathematical modeling”, and Thomas is presenting a poster on comparative genomic analyses in fungal pathogens, with an emphasis on Sclerotinia.
The group is attending the 2016 edition of the international meeting of the Tulip Labex (https://www.labex-tulip.fr/Actualites/Inscriptions-Meeting-International). The program includes talks from members of the scientific advisory board Sharon Long (Stanford Univ. USA) and Tom Schoener (UC Davis, USA). Sylvain is presenting Olivier and Malick work on the phylogenomics of Sclerotiniaceae fungi. Sylvain is attending the European Conference on Fungal Genetics in La Cité des Sciences in Paris. Amazing science and plenty of friends and collaborators to meet!
The QIP lab is attending the symposium on System Biology organized in Toulouse by the SPE department of INRA. We are presenting the work of Remi, Malick and Adelin on Sclerotinia reprogramming during host colonization.
Sylvain is visiting Katherine Denby and John Clarkson in Warwick University. Great discussions, an exciting tour of the Plant Science Department and a nice opportunity to catch up with old friends from TSL time.
